It is not sure whether this letter was sent to Anderton.&lt;br /&gt;Since Anderton performed the role of Juliet in 1848, which was assigned to Hays in the same year, the letter must have originated in 1848. According to &lt;a href="https://archivalgossip.com/collection/admin/items/show/627"&gt;#627&lt;/a&gt;, Hays still performed with Cushman in November. The only following 21st that falls on a Thursday is in December.</text>
