Dear Mr. White your letter of March 16th enclosing a draft for $25 has but just come to hand.—It was so long on the way, that fearing that my package had failed to reach you, and so wrote you a few days since. I certainly shall not fail to let you know when I am in Boston as you so kindly regret. I shall be pleased to know you.—I also desire greatly to meet with your sister and her husband—for aside from the curiosity to see distinguished people, of which I suppose, I have my share, I have been more deeply interested in them by the representations of some common friends, both in Boston and Philadelphia

Respectfully and sincerely

Sare J. Clarke
