Miss Anne Brewster, a sister of Attorney-General Brewster, is quite a chatterer at Rome. [...] She has many little peculiarities which were written up in capital style by Miss Tinker in her "By the Tiber." She is very petite in stature and has a pleasant face. She is a charming hostess and entertains with rare grace and dignity, , and at her receptions one meets all of the prominent Americans traveling abroad, as well as many foreigners of rank and distinction, and as she is a devout Roman Catholic, all of tthe higher church dignitaries visit her.
