Dear Mr Booth
I have been waiting
for a decision from my good Dr
as to whether it is safe for me to
act or not so soon as 25 September
on. I still wait his final word

at any rate it can
not be later than Fridays post
for I have written again this am
very insistently. The moment I
hear from him again, I will
write to you. He is a little timid
& I dare not move without his

consent. For I have not been
so ill since the hot weather
[...] am thereby made
a little anxious lest I should
bring myself harm & so bring
[...] unhappiness to [...]
[...] but while
we are compelled to wait this
decision which I have
reason to fear will be unfavour
-able. we will write on the
subject of times. for the
matinée
[...]
I think you will have to give
me $250 each for the matinées
or I will share with you after
$100.
I will write again as soon as I have [...]
