Can you get away from Manchester. so as to act with me on Thursday. 21' in Chester? If so. be there for me. by the train which leaves Manchester at 9.50. & arrives in Chester at 11.30. or write me word. immediately telling me no. I am awkwardly placed. by
[2314 reverse] some unforseen [sic] circumstances occurring. which will prevent Miss Hays from acting in Chester. So pray come to me if you possibly can. & let me know how your arrangement is made. with regard to Manchester. whether you could or would like to act with me. in Liverpool the
 fortnight from Jany 1st [?]. & in Dublin the fortnight from Jany 15". with an engaget [engagement] in Glasgow & Edinburgh afterwards. or if you could return to Manchester if you wished at the end of Feby. after having acted these engagets [engagements] with me. At all events let me know if you can come to act with me on Thursday in Chester on Thursday. come if
 you possibly can. I have written to the Manager. Mr Corbet Cook to apply to you. & have told him I have written to you. to ask you to come. come if you possibly can. & believe me in great haste ever faithfully
I shall go over to Chester tomorrow & Wednesday
